We were extremely honored to participate in the Extreme Makeover Home Edition Nashville Build at Lighthouse Christian School. Back during the Nashville Floods in May 2010, you may remember this image of a portable classroom floating down the interstate.
That classroom belonged to Lighthouse Christian Schools run by the Sweat family. That iconic image has come to represent the devastation of the flood for our community.
We joined forces with the thousands of volunteers and skilled craftsmen and women who came together to completely rebuild the flood ravaged preschool in just 7 days. It was an amazingly fulfilling and exhausting 4 days and nights on the site. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity to work with members of the Extreme Makeover Home Edition’s interior design team to produce some original works of art for the new preschool.
