This is my very favorite kitchen makeover because A) It is very dramatic B) This kitchen already had greatness! It just needed some polish! C) The clients followed our advice. Every. Single. Word. They executed our joint vision and got an amazing finished project. D) They were super fun to work with. E) The client even shot a testimonial video for us.

Talk about dramatic makeovers! This one made our favorites list because of the BIG changes. They went from knotty pine country to sophisticated chic. These clients were fun to work with because they let us make some suggestions for the stove hood. In the end we decided on a rust copper patina finish using Modern Masters Reactive Paint line. The clients added new crystal chandeliers over the island as the perfect contrast to the new paint. 

From Knotty Pine to Sophisticated Chic

The Black and White combo wins every time. "My kitchen is too dark." "I hate my granite should I replace it?" "Should I paint the island a different color than the cabinets?" I think we answered all those questions and addressed all this homeowner's issues in this kitchen makeover project. We lightened up the kitchen with a bright white paint color. I always tell my clients that they will like their granite better once the cabinet color changes and it works every time. Painting the island a second color- Sherwin Williams-Black Fox,  really makes it look high-end in this gorgeous home.
