Nashville Lifestyles Best Bathroom Remodel

I have exciting news! Bella Tucker was just recognized as the designer of “The Best Bathroom Remodel” by Nashville Lifestyles Magazine. This came as a complete surprise. A friend had submitted our entry, but I had received no prior notice of winning the award until I got the magazine in the mail. As a matter of fact, I almost tossed the magazine into the trash. Curiosity got the better of me and I flipped open the magazine to see who had won. I was shocked to see that Bella Tucker had won two awards!! There was a two page spread of our win for “Nashville’s Best Bathroom Remodel“.

Then as I looked through the magazine I saw we had also been awarded runner up for “The Best Kitchen Remodel“. We got a one page feature for that recognition.

My old friend, self doubt came around making me question our wins. Thinking maybe they didn’t have very many entries since we had won in two categories. Until I received an email with the press release from Nashville Lifestyles Magazine that said the following:

With so many of us spending most our time at home this year, the home design business and residential real estate flourished more than ever,” says Brian Barry, publisher of Nashville Lifestyles. “Not surprising, we had a record number of nominees for the awards so it’s truly a banner year to shine a spotlight on all of the incredible talent we have in our city. Congratulations to all our winners!

Of course we didn’t win this award by ourselves. Many thanks to our bathroom contractor, Bob Whitley of Franklin Painting and Decorating and our kitchen contractor, Glen Hutchinson. Both teams and their trades so beautifully and masterfully executed my design vision. Thank you to our amazing clients for trusting me with your homes and your money. Thanks to my insanely talented photographer, Leslie Brown. She so perfectly captures my vision for each space. And of course, my Bella Tucker team especially Emily Butler who does all the heavy lifting and zhuzhing on photo shoot days. Thanks to my friend, Nancy McNulty for submitting our entries.
