Welcome to our videos page. We were recently asked to film some short clips on Decorative Painting and Faux Finishing Techniques for ehow Home We had a blast talking about everything from picking interior paint colors to decorating with chalk paint. I have created tabs at the top under the main Video tab. If you hold your cursor over the video tab you will see a drop down menu of the various videos. Some points to keep in mind:
- We were flying by the seat of our pants. We had no idea how this was going to go down before the guy got to our house. We had no script as you can probably tell by my repeated use of the word “um”.
- If we sound funny introducing some of the long names of the techniques we are doing it is because we were trying to use exact popular keyword search terms. Ehow has a science to how they produce these videos. They know their stuff. These videos have only been up a couple of days but are already ranking on the first page of the keyword search terms. Pretty cool stuff.
- We were not allowed to use any name brand products or mention them by name. That is why the green tape is over the product labels.
- This should be completely obvious, but remember the camera adds 25 pounds AND about 10 years. Give us a break. 🙂
