I love decorating for the holidays. I also love to use vintage items in my decorating to evoke the memories of wonder I experienced at Christmas time as a child. I scour estate sales, vintage shops and Etsy for unique nostalgic Christmas decorations. Some of my favorite items are these pipe cleaner snowflakes.
We actually misplaced a box this year that had a lot of my favorite vintage pieces in it including these snowflakes and it worried me to death until we found the box full of my precious-es. Like this hand-hooked Noel sign with wicker bells. It was also in the lost box.
As was this vintage brass Christmas tree candle holder.
I couldn’t embrace the thought of a Tucker Christmas without them. So we searched, and we searched until they were recovered.
Our kitchen with its Blue Peacock cabinets is the perfect backdrop for Christmas decor. It pairs perfectly with gold, red and white. I hope you enjoy this photo tour of our kitchen all dolled up for Christmas.
These brass deer made a great centerpiece.
Our main Christmas tree pops off this large art and I love it!!
