This has been an amazing year for kitchen remodels. We have had the most amazing clients who have trusted us to help them create a vision and bring it to life. All of the following remodels worked with existing kitchen cabinets. We reworked the layouts a bit to create better work flow, added additional storage and updated dated surfaces and lighting. So, here is our list of our top 8 kitchen remodels in 2018.
Kitchen #1 – Blue and White Kitchen
This amazing makeover included a show stopping Cambria Brittanica 3″mitered edge countertop on the island and dramatic large modern cabinet hardware. Read more about this project HERE.
Kitchen #2 – Shiplap and Natural Wood Kitchen
Warm woods paired with creamy white paint are probably my favorite kitchen combination. Throw in a shiplap island and you’ve got an amazing updated kitchen. Read more about this project and how we painted the backsplash tile HERE.
Kitchen #3 – Our Home Kitchen
Updating our own kitchen was such a great learning experience. We are so thrilled with how everything turned out. We worked with re-cycled cabinets, but completely gutted the kitchen. Check out our kitchen reveal including our budget busting hardware HERE.
Kitchen #4 – Not Quite Right Kitchen Island
This kitchen was in huge need of an update in functionality. From a really low peninsula to a really high dishwasher, to an island turned the wrong direction. You can check out all the updates by clicking HERE.
Kitchen #5 – Take Down That Wall
When I think of the quintessential classic white kitchen, this is the kitchen that comes to mind. It needed a lot of help to get there including taking down a wall and moving the main breaker box. See how we accomplished all of this HERE.
Kitchen #6 – A Tuscan Modern Update
There are a ton of Tuscan Style kitchens in our area. Lots of browns and golds and orangey wood tones begging to be brought up to date. Check out what we did to increase the style and functionality of this kitchen by clicking HERE.
Kitchen #7 – A Tuxedo Kitchen
This kitchen was pretty fabulous before we got a hold of it, but it needed to be brightened and shined up. I couldn’t bring myself to paint over all the beautiful brown stain, so we only painted the top cabinets. The result is an updated light and bright warm kitchen. Come check out my very favorite pendant lights of all time HERE.
Kitchen #8- A Fixer Upper Kitchen
This kitchen probably got the most response on social media. It got a major overhaul with shiplap, “X” design details, and warm creamy whites. Check out all the details including how we built the pantry door of our client’s dreams from a vintage door found at Preservation Station. Find the details HERE.
Thanks to all of our clients, trade partners, vendors and amazing painters for a fabulous 2018.
