Brooks just installed an uber cool new product. It is called Tattoowall by Architexture. It is an innovative product that combines artistry and technology to create murals, frescos and trompe l’oeil that can be applied in a matter of hours. Tattoowall can be applied on virtually any surface including walls, ceilings, domes or building exteriors. It can be created from any original image, or picture. They also have an extensive library of art images to chose from. The high resolution image is then sent to the factory in Italy where it is printed on special film and shipped to the client.
They worked on four cherub images for the four corners of the ceiling and also on several small cartouches around the room.
It was amazing how we could put up images in a couple of hours that would represent at least two weeks of work if we had hand painted them. The beauty of it is that you can add finishing touches to the surface to further customize the image. I see a lot of Tattoowall work in our future. The possibilities are endless.
